While single-player mode runs you through how to race, you’ll still have an array of driving assists to help you and compensate for different skill levels. As you learn, tougher and tougher tracks become available to you to play around in, and these often closely match the skills you’ll be learning in the campaign. The maps you start with range from the real-world track Suzuka Circuit to a Polyphony original, Dragon Trail, and its rolling hills and crystal lakes. Gran Turismo Sport‘s campaign teaches you everything - and I do mean everything - about how to drive like a pro.Īll this, combined with steady track unlocks, contribute to a strong sense of progressive mastery. It’s an exceptional system that does more than ever to actually prepare players for competitive play. Learn how to corner, how to read other racers, and even how to manage tire wear and fuel on longer drives. Then you’ll train and master manual transmission and technique. You learn the bare basics - how to accelerate, shift, and turn. Series veterans can think of this as a vastly expanded “Driver’s School,” a tutorial mode from past GT games. Instead, Gran Turismo Sport‘s campaign teaches you everything - and I do mean everything - about how to drive like a pro. Without a proper career mode, you won’t be competing in cups or the Grand Prix to take first. The first big change players will note is that there’s no traditional racing progression. Though the features that have been cut are sorely missed, the new direction is exciting and refreshing. In their stead is a precisely tuned experience that will teach you absolutely everything you need to know about the ins and outs of racing. We could talk about what’s been dropped for some time, but for the sake of avoiding the world’s most repetitive review, we’ll just say it’s a lot. Gone are dynamic weather elements, almost 90% of the car roster, half the maps, and even a traditional single player campaign. Gran Turismo Sport has been honed and refined with exacting detail, but has trimmed down quite a bit in the process. With Gran Turismo Sport, though, developer Polyphony digital has moved in a radically different direction. Standouts like the Moon rover in 2013’s Gran Turismo 6 set alongside Gran Turismo 4‘s dignified approach to driving etiquette and vehicle damage prove as much. Even within the series, Gran Turismo has drifted across that spectrum. Each game offers a different flavor of that experience, of course, from the celebratory jubilance of Forza Horizon 3, to the muted authenticity of Project CARS. With that comes a reverence for the spectacle, the pomp, and the ceremony around driving the most elite and exclusive cars to run through your digital play-tracks. The vehicles they realize are dreams – the cars most aspire fans to own, but will never be able to afford. Racing games are often defined by automotive idolatry.

I highly recommend this movie to fans of Fate/Stay Night. If you really want to see this movie, watch Fate/Stay Night (2006), then Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014), and then you will be ready for this movie trilogy. It’s a beautiful but flawed movie that is only meant for long-time Fate fans, not newcomers. Is it something I enjoyed a lot? Yes, I really enjoyed the movie, but that’s because I have previous experience with the franchise. Is it bad? Not at all, it’s a lot of fun and I enjoy watching it. This isn’t the best Fate masterpiece that fans of this route are hyping it up to be. The soundtrack and the voice acting are great, but the pacing is also a problem with this film. The animation is nice, but there’s just too much CGI in the film that doesn’t look good next to the 2D animation. The animation is hampered by conspicuous CGI that’s jarring compared to Fate/Zero and that anime is six years old. I’m not a Fate fan who gives this movie a free pass because the film has stunning visuals, an amazing soundtrack, and excellent dubbing. It’s not a bad movie at all, but there are some bad decisions made when it comes to characterization for Shirou and pacing that I will not ignore. The pacing is bad, it is too fast, not enough time for real character developmentĪmazing soundtrack uses the ending credit song as a motifįate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel I: Presage Flower is a film that could be so much better than how it turned out. World-building is completely reliant on having seen previous adaptations of Fate/Stay NightĬGI stands out too much that the 3D doesn't mesh well with the 2D. Also nuking pretty much all of Shirou’s thoughts makes it harder for his character develop in the story so far, I’ll have to see how they handle any inner monologues in the second and third films but I’ll give my final judgment to the entire Heaven’s Feel route in my review of the third movie. Its reliance on the audience knowing the previous source material is a major hindrance to the film’s storytelling. It’s a Fun Experience If You’ve Watched the Other Routes, but It Can’t Stand on Its Ownįate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel I: Presage Flower is an excellent movie held back from being truly great because of the choices of the writers and the way this movie was adapted from its source material. Due to the fact that they’re speeding through old material, it affected the film’s pacing and it drags down this film just like Unlimited Blade Works (2010). You are expected to know the previous material so they skipped a ton of it because you’re supposed to have had experience with previous adaptations. The bane of the Fate adaptations returns, the expectation that you’ve seen Fate/Stay Night (2006) and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014) so they just skip over a lot of the beginning of the route because they expect you to have read or watched the previous material, which is not at all newcomer friendly. The Film Expects You to Have Watched the Other Routes This screenshot is here because it amused me. It just didn’t feel like she got a lot of new development in this film. We do have two more films coming up so she will get more character development too. The pacing is too fast to really take the time to get to really know Sakura Matou, even with my knowledge of her because I watched Fate/Zero first doesn’t really help her character development in this film, even though I do like her character, I didn’t really feel I got to know a whole lot more about her outside of a conversation with Shirou which reveals why she likes him. This film does not have good pacing, days and nights pass by so quickly that you need the Fate/Stay Night flow chart to keep track of what day it is. Well, it needed to be longer to have good pacing. The Pacing Is Ridiculously Fast, Despite Cutting out the Slice of Life Aspects from the Visual Novelįate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel: Presage Flower has the problem of being too short. I don’t expect giant walls of text but certainly more than what they did in this film. The writers didn’t do that for Shirou and they needed to. The reason Steins Gate (2011) is one of the best visual novel adaptations is that while they didn’t keep all of Okabe Rintaro’s inner monologues, they kept enough of them in the anime to let you understand the character. Me, Rihanna, ‘Ye and Paul got a song about to drop as well… What can you tell me about the other songs you worked on with ‘Ye? I gave that nervous shit up a couple years back and that’s when I was able to get it pippin.’ At first, I ain’t gon’ lie, I used to be a little nervous about what people were gon’ think about my music but once I let that go, then everything started happening. Also, be real critical about what you do, not just let anything go out there.Īt first, I was wondering what he was gonna’ think and all that shit, but I was like ‘I’ma just do this like I’m doing it for myself’ and everybody fucked with it. all the homies around, everybody being like ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Just take my time and really examine what’s dope and what’s not. What did you learn from working with ‘Ye? That inspired me to record like that at the crib.Įverybody is into all the dope shit that’s out and they said that my project was one of them. You would think he would want the mic enclosed and all that but we just had the doors open, and it came out perfect. The back of the house had no walls and no doors it was just open the ocean. Do you need anything?’ I’m like ‘Awesome! Let’s get it!’ He was open to my input, like, ‘do whatever you want to do. I was like, ‘I’m here with Kanye, I’m not gonna waste my time.’ They really wanted me to stay for like a week, but I only had like two days, ’cause I was about to start the tour. like 24 hours, seven songs or nine songs that day. It’s like running track and getting a gold medal. How did it feel to wake up and hear your voice on “Only One”? They playing it on the radio, every city, every state, every country, so shit, I’m happy! I didn’t know what song ‘Only One’ was at first, then the other homie called me and played me the song. Atlantic called and asked me to clear it and everything. One day my homie Ricky Anderson hit me up and was like, ‘Kanye wants you to come work with him in Mexico,’ so I came out there we did like nine songs in one day one of them happened to be ‘Only One.’ĭid you know he was going to drop “Only One” on New Year’s Eve, or were you surprised like everybody else? How did you end up working with Kanye West? With thanks to these sessions, it looks like 2015 is already turning into the year of Ty Dolla $ign. When you quit boxer earlier, it should have remounted the original disc automatically and it should read as a genuine disc and let you access all single player features with expansion and patch run the Warcraft 2 boxer app, run the patch by typing "war2ptch.exe" or whatever the patch file is called. Go to your boxer game directory, right click Warcraft 2 app and show package contents, drop that patch into its c drive. download the Warcraft 2 expansion patch from this site. Type setup to install the expansion, use default settings, it should see your original install in c: still. Type "d:" to navigate to the war2e image you mounted. You should have a blank c: line on your prompt still. Make sure to use the Mac filesystem forward slash for this particular directory location, not the Microsoft "\" backslash. FYI boxer lets dos see your filesytem starting from users/username when you type "~/" so that's why it sees the war2e.iso there. now type "imgmount d ~/war2e.iso -t ISO" and it should give you a successful mount message. Boxer auto mounts this disc for you now in Drive D. open the new Boxer game file you just made, get it to the dos prompt (don't run the game yet) let it install in its default settings and location, choosing sound blaster 16 for your sound cards, then finish importing. Open boxer, go to import game, drag the war2 ISO to Boxer rename the ISO files to war2.iso and war2e.iso (you might want to go to finder advanced preferences and show all file extensions so you don't mess them up) Place both new ISO files in your Mac filesystem in "users/your_username" folder I tried first with winIso and PowerISO, neither worked. I did this in windows using magicIso shareware version. Convert bin file to ISO for both war2 and expansion. The files here are actually bin/cue files not ISO, boxer won't read them, Mac won't mount them. Instructions for Mac using Boxer instead of dosbox ( expansion patch) So you take a deep breath, pay your money and hope for the best.Īs it happens I have a fully functional nav radio sitting on my shelf that I bought as a spare a couple of years ago. There are three very different versions of the nav radio, and they use different firmware, only the latest version supports Sirius Traffic, But you could well wind up with a non-nav radio or a paperweight - ad then there is a generational question. and, for example, some of the part numbers for the radio from the Dodge Dart match those of the ones from the Journey - but because the 2 vehicles use different data busses, the Dart version won't work in the Journey (perhaps they configure themselves when intialised - I have a printer like that - I don't know). The sellers often have no clue and unless you have the magic decoder ring (which seems to not exist) the only way to know is if the part number matches one that you already know is equipped. see If you are reading this, keep it low profile. I did not acquire a Garmin Nuvi to get all necessary files. Special thanks to RScottyL, tanbam and many other members! If you have 0x31A0 issue, just keep in mind and convince your self that your dodge vehicle is a picky vehicle and only premium USB drive can match a premium vehicle. All files and folders are copied to my car once. However, Windows does not allow me to format it to FAT32, I have to use DiskGenius to format my 256 GB USB to FAT32.Īfter that, just loaded all files mentioend in original posting to USB, validation passed, navigation rebooted and the copying files to car took me around 1.5 hours, and finally I was noticed "Update Maps successfully" and "cant unlock detail maps" error is gone!Īlso, with a larger USB I never need to use the Fallback method to load ASR, JCV, SID folders multiple times. I read somewhere in this thread that people have higher success rate with USB 3.0 FAT32 format, but since my new Sandisk 256GB USB 3.0 came with exFAT which is better capabilities than FAT32. Sandisk 256GB USB 3.0 exFAT - Not supported USB Noname 128GB USB 2.0 NTFS - Not supported USB Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 FAT32 - Recognized, validation failed. Noname 8GB USB 2.0 FAT32 - No recognized at all I would recommend an at least 16GB USB drive if you are buying new one as the map will get bigger in following years anyway. Overall, the key to pass validation and avoid 0x31A0 is to get a big brand USB 3.0 formatted as FAT32. As other says, the key to resolve 0x31A0 is the USB drive ! Basically, the symptom of 0x31A0 is when you insert USB, it fails the validation and says "Please retry update procedure or contact your dealer for assistance" then if you do not click OK for 3 or 4 sec. Like many others, I have 0x31A0 error too and read every reply in this thread from page 1 to last and learned a lot from others. The map version I loaded to USB is 2020.10, total file size is aorund 6.1 GB. After two weeks of try I have finally resolved the unlock map problem, 0x31A0 issue and upgraded to 2020.10 Map today!! Palms, beaches, and hills are fun, especially with Parklife DLC. Looking to rebuild San Francisco in the game? Then this sandy map is for you. Thus it may make sense to ignore this map. A lot of waterfronts, a lot of challenges related to proper communication of two shores.Īnother river map with a wide part where two rivers meet and a separate pond. You have a strait between two major pieces of land which looks like a wide river. Another good map but maybe not for a newbie. Oil deposits are on two islands which may mean having two industrial districts with limited connections. A lot of waterfront fun, bridges and so on. You will get an estuary of two rivers, a couple of islands and a bay. Challenging but interesting, probably not the best option for a newbie because of traffic challenges. Cities Skylines Black Woods is a map inspired by Stockholm where you will have to use a lot of bridges and ferries. The only distinctive thing of Cities Skylines Riverrun map is two highway connections from the starting tile which increases your chances to build a city with optimized traffic. Narrow rivers, a small pond with a small island, a couple of hills, nothing special. This map is recommended for building a huge city and playing with some canals. Cities Skylines Green Plains map includes three rivers, two big lakes, and raw materials of all kinds. Moreover, it crosses even your beginning tile. An interesting map with a wide river in the middle. Or choose another map of one of these Cities Skylines map themes: temperate, boreal or tropical. To change this you will have to switch district style to Vanilla manually. A couple of hills, an interesting initial highway setup and a sufficient amount of flat space. Your starting tile is on the bank of one of those rivers. A couple of rivers connected to a big lake. In fact, the default game contains the biggest number of maps - Keep in mind that as these maps were created before any DLC, sometimes they lack places where you can play with some of the features that appeared later.
